- Topics: Ethics in AI.
- Judging Criteria: - Judging Criteria: Clarity, coherence, logical reasoning, depth of understanding, rebuttals, and overall persuasive argumentation.

Time limits:
First Affirmative Constructive (1AC) – 3 minutes.
Cross-examination (N1) – 2 minutes.
Preparation time Negative – upto 2 minutes.
First Negative Constructive (1N/1NR) – 4 minutes.
Cross-examination (A1) – 2 minutes.
Preparation time Affirmative – upto 2 minutes.
First Affirmative Rebuttal (1AR) – 3 minutes.
Preparation time Negative – upto 4 minutes.
Negative Rebuttal (2NR) – 3 minutes.
Preparation time Affirmative – upto 2 minutes.
Second Affirmative Rebuttal (2AR) – 3 minutes. -
Pre-requisites:
- Participants are required to prepare for both sides of the Motion for the listed topic(s) and shall be assigned to either side based on the total number of participants, on a random basis.
- Selection for the event is on a first- come, first-serve basis and so we urge all interested participants to fill the form by the earliest.
Schedule and other info:
- Time: Start and end time for the debate.
- Rounds: 1 round.
- Moderation: A moderator will oversee the debate to ensure adherence to rules and time limits.
- Judging Panel: A panel of judges will evaluate the debate based on the predefined criteria.
